Seabass likes warm waters in winter. One of good spots of seabass fishing in Niigata City is the exhaust port of the thermal power plant in Niigata East Port. But seabass in this season is small, for all of adult seabass go to the offing to lay eggs.
I went there and enjoyed fishing.

I went to the exhaust port in the evening on February 19. This is the first time I went seabass fishing there. But I could get a small seabass; its length was only 41 cm ( Pic.1 ). Probably, this size will be an average size.

It was cloudy and windy evening. But it was not so cold at the exhoust port, as the water there was worm.
First I got a Spanish mackerel of 48 cm in length soon ( Pic.2 ). I felt it would be a nice evening.
Eight pictures below show seabasses I fished that evening. The length of fishes was from 40 cm to 46 cm; children of seabass.
The method was easy. You cast a plastic worm and retrieve it. Then seabass will bite. If you want to know more, contact me.
