Do you Know Ichiro in Mariners of Major Leagues? His family name is Suzuki. Suzuki is a name of fish and we Japanese believe suzuki is luck-bringer fish. The English name of suzuki is seabass.
In June, I get up early and go fishing every morning. Then I come home ,take breakfast with my family and go to my work place.
In the first half of June, I go to the river to enjoy Masu Salmon fishing. My games of Masu Salmon fishing in 2002 are shown in Masu Salmon Fishing. In the second half of June, I go to the river mouth of the Shinano River to fish Japanese seabass. Now I show you a half of my seabass games in June. I will show another half of my results in Vol.2 soon.

Thouth it was rainy morning, the water was not so claudy. I casted a small minnow plug, and got two seabass soon ( Photo 1 and 2 ). The size of those were 45cm 0.7Kg and 54cm 1.5Kg. After that a nice sized fish hit my lure, but the fish ran to the structure and cut my line! Oh my God!

It was sunny morning. I fished one seabass ( Photo.3 and 4 ). The size of it was 53cm 1.3Kg. It is the most common size of seabass in this place in June.
Click the pictures. Japansese seabass is silver colored with a dark back. I think Japanese seabass is beautiful and smart.

In that morning, seabass did not come into the river mouth probably, for evry anglers could not catch it. I found a big group of anchovy were in the outer sea, and then I found some boiling of fish. I casted a lure and fished a yellowtail easily ( Photo.5 ). I was lucky.

I fished one seabass soon in that morning ( Photo.6 and 7 ), the size of which was 52cm 1.2Kg. But it was not all of my fishing in that morning.

Then I casted a plastic worm and fished three flounders and a yellowtail. I thought all of those were chasing anchovy in the river mouth.

It was sunny morning. I casted a small minnow plug and fished a nice sized seabass ( Photo.11 and 12 ). Its size was 77cm 3.9Kg. It was the biggest one I fished in 2002. So I was happy ( Photo.12 ).
I got ten seabass in June, a half of those I show here. Another half includes also nice sized seabass; 82cm 3.8Kg. I will update soon. Visit again.
